Indiana Health Information Exchange Named Finalist for Prestigious Technology Award
Indianapolis, IN (May 16, 2008) ‐ The Indiana Health Information Exchange (IHIE) was selected as a finalist for the state's most prestigious technology award, the TechPoint Mira Award. The awards recognize the top performers, innovators and contributors to technology‐related industries in Indiana. TechPoint received 75 nominations this year, nearly double the number of nominations in previous years. IHIE competed in the Health & Life Sciences Gazelle Company Award, which recognizes companies that are commercializing projects or services in the Health & Life Sciences sector and have been in business less than five years from the initial formation of the company.
As a provider of practical solutions to address the most difficult healthcare issues, IHIE is one of the nation's most high‐profile health information exchange efforts.
